Kurs i ”Prechtl General Movements Assessment” i Stockholm 28-31/1 2026
In January 2026, it will be another course in the Prechtl General Movements Assessment (basic and advanced level).
The Prechtl GMA is a method used to identify neurological impairments at an early stage and predict an infant’s later neurodevelopmental outcome. Compelling evidence has shown that using this assessment method at a very early age is the best indicator for cerebral palsy.
The course will be held in Stockholm, at the Karolinska University Hospital, Solna, the 28th-31st of January. The course fulfills the standards specified by the GM Trust (https://general-movements-trust.info).
It applies to professions assessing infants with high risk of adverse neurodevelopmental outcome; neonatologists, neuropediatricians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses etc.
